Dear Friends!

I hope you have been enjoying the summer and making the best out of the heatwave. I thought it is the right time to send you my news.

Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2025

First of all I am delighted to share that my painting ‘Parkside’ has been selected for this year Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts!

Needless to say that I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of this iconic exhibition, that has been running every year without interruption since 1769. This year, for the first time, the exhibition is coordinated by the architect Farshid Moussavi RA. It has a different flow and feel to it, with the architecture integrated as part of the overall exhibition. Personally, I liked it very much, although I might be biased!

You can find my painting in gallery V, curated by recently elected academician Caragh Thuring. I am truly honoured to share the walls in the room with works of several members of the RA, including David Remfry, Bill Jacklin and Dame Tracey Emin, as well as some of my fellow artists, whose work I love, such as Michael Kirkbride, Lois Wallace, Pavel Isupov and so many many more absolutely fantastic artists.

I hope you will get a chance to visit and see it for yourself. I might see you there, you never know, as I will be coming back quite a few times to have a proper look at over 1,700 works displayed in this very special place.

The Gallery Holt ‘One Earth’ exhibition

Shortly after the Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries earlier this year, I was invited to participate in the group exhibition at the Gallery Holt in Norfolk. ‘One Earth’ exhibition reflects on the beauty and fragility of our planet through the eyes of several selected artists, including members of the various Royal Art Societies such as Gary Cook, Kate Bentley, Michael Aschcroft, Peter Barker and Sarah Spencer. Absolutely wonderful show in a beautiful place. I am very grateful to have several of my paintings there. Do visit, if you have a chance and planning some weekends away in Norfolk this summer. The show runs until the 8th of July (Monday to Saturday 10 am to 4 pm). Alternatively, you can also view the exhibition online.

Letchworth Open 2025

Finally, I have one of my earlier sunset paintings showing at the Broadway Gallery in Letchworth, (Hertfordshire) in the open exhibition, until the 26th of July. Now in its fifth year, the Letchworth Open is Hertfordshire’s largest exhibition showcasing a range of artworks from amateur and professional artists across Hertfordshire and surrounding counties. Eclectic display but there are quite a few gems that can be found there.
